As of April, all music available on the iTunes Store--the largest music reseller in the world--is available only in the DRM-free, high quality iTunes Plus format. No more need for authorization, nor requiring that you be near an Internet connection to play purchased music... and all at a higher quality. With the largest source of music worldwide making this shift, the death of DRM is being celebrated nearly everywhere. This is especially exciting to the DJ community, who can now use a higher quality item in their mixing and without needing to remove the DRM-encryption from each song beforehand.
