It is that time of year again, when the world of man fades away in a dust storm and the last great tribe of man gathers in the Black Rock Desert to build a city the likes of which has only previously been found in faerie tales. This year's theme for Burning Man is evolution, and the big guns have all come out to fill our beautiful city with some of the most inspiring art in years.
Music-wise, there is sure to be a lot of BassNectar, a few good nights with Kid Beyond, a high likeliness of some Vibe Squad sightings and most certainly some San Jaya Prime. The Temple itself, called the Fire of Fires, has been pieced together and carved in Austin, Texas. It leaves for a few days to make the long journey across the many deserts of the South-West.
A fire burns on the horizon... and we answer its call. From dust thou art... and to dust returneth.
